Our vision is rooted in our inherent responsibility to govern and steward these lands and waters for future generations—an enduring relationship built on knowledge, care and accountability.

The Great Bear First Nations Foundation is being established by the Nations of the Central and North Coast and Haida Gwaii to advance education, conservation and cultural stewardship, strengthening communities and protecting the Great Bear Rainforest and Sea for future generations.
